Tiferet is one of the only residential camp programs in North America that combines study of the arts with a focus on Jewish themes and Jewish living. Campers also have the opportunity to experience all the fun of summer camp, including sports, swimming, climbing our 5-story Alpine Tower and high ropes course, and horseback riding!
Campers spend several hours each day working with our outstanding and talented arts specialists such as Ohad Sha'altiel, Artistic Director and Visual Arts Specialist; Aviv Kammay, Music Specialist; Michael Goldberg, Drama Specialist; and Margalit Sha'altiel, Dance Specialist. In addition, Tiferet counselors are specially selected for their experience in the arts as well as their desire and ability to work with talented campers.
When registering, please indicate your area of interest: drama, dance, instrumental music, digital arts, or visual arts. Space is limited in each specialty area. Read a description of each studio here.
Tiferet Aleph is designed for those campers with a special interest in the arts. Our extraordinary artists will help you to develop your talent, improve your skills, and enhance your ability to express yourselves in your art. You will spend at least two hours each day in your chosen area, with an additional elective period during the day where you can try a different studio or activity. You’ll also be involved in producing the Star-Spangled Mesibah
, the all-camp talent show and Independence Day celebration! Tiferet Aleph campers are asked for a brief summary of their interest and experience; this form is available below.
