For more photos, see our
Facebook page.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the program is filled. After you register online, finalize your registration by mailing your check made payable to OSRUI to: Mother & Daughter Kallah / OSRUI, 1121 Lake Cook Road, Suite D, Deerfield IL 60015.

We strongly encourage you to use a laptop, desktop, or tablet computer to register, NOT a smart phone.

If you do not see the "submit" button or are not directed to a confirmation website, please try again with a different browser or computer.

OSRUI's Associate Director Susan Alexander will be your guide, as you enjoy time alone with your special girls. You’ll spend Shabbat at camp, do lots of fun activities and special projects, and head home after brunch Sunday. This program is for mothers, grandmothers, and aunts, and the girls they love age 5 to 12.

2014 tuition will be the same as 2013, $360 includes lodging for two nights, meals (Shabbat dinner through Sunday brunch) and all programming for a family of two or three. Each additional family member is $95. Rooms in the Schaalman Lodge and the Daniel M. Soref Education and Alumni Center feature double rooms with private baths.

Download a schedule from the 2013 Mother & Daughter Kallah. It'll give you an idea of how the program is structured, although the activities will be revised for 2014.

There is a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made in writing. We regret we cannot give refunds for cancellations less than three days (72 hours) in advance of the program.

Van Service to Camp
We recommend GO Riteway which offers van service to the camp at a discounted rate from the Milwaukee Airport (Mitchell Field).

Check-in will begin at 5 pm Friday, October 10, and the weekend will end about 11:30 am on Sunday, October 12.

Registration is now open.

This program is underwritten in part through
a generous grant from the Daniel M. Soref Charitable Trust.

Check out the photo album on the right from the Spring 2011 Mother & Daughter Kallah, as well as the original song below, written and performed by Michal Spanjer and Hope Havenhill!

I’ve been waiting for the summer’s colors to come shine on me in a nice warm breeze
I’ve been waiting for some fun and adventure
Because I’ve been stuck in school all year long

Pre Chorus:
Fun and memories to share
Heard stories and they never get boring
Waking up in the morning

Say hello, say goodbye – yeah it all flies by
Don’t think back, live in the moment, that’s camp…Oh
Meet a random guy named Louie, Eat some ratatouille, Have some s’mores that are gooey…

I’ve been waiting for sun and a splash in the water
Where friends are family – come take a trip with me
I don’t know about you but I’d be telling the truth when I say.
I’ve been waiting all year long
So come, sing along, have some fun at OSRUI!
